The dinner served was a good crab feast that was both fresh and flavorful, a highlight that I highly recommend.
The breakfast hours conflicted with our check-out time, made for a rushed morning experience.

I greatly enjoyed the lovely hotel.
Booked a room with lovely views, and the staff were affable and helpful people at the reception desk. A balcony and a lounge area were good. The property's location was fantastic and good, close to the station. Plus, it was near a mini market, more attractions & the 7 public baths and a river running along the middle...

Beautiful tranquil surroundings enhance the relaxation experience.
While the private onsens were enjoyable, the timing felt restrictive and rushed. Breakfast hours coincided with check-out, leaving no room for a leisurely morning. The lack of guidance on meal arrangements led to confusion about enjoying the exquisite dishes.

It was just a strong match for a weekend trip in Toyooka with very good value for money. The owner packed me a surprise breakfast for my early train ride, such a thoughtful touch! Make sure to take advantage of their yukatas, as they have a great selection to choose from.

The Japanese-Style Room offered a traditional feel with tatami flooring that added to the ambiance. Meals in our room were substantial, with a good Wagyu set and crab, though breakfast options were quite limited for Western tastes. While the private bath experience was relaxing, the extra charges for onsens felt unexpected. The lack of wifi availability in the guest lounge and older bathrooms detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.

We enjoyed our stay with the grandkids at this cozy ryokan. The food was really good, especially the dinner served in our room! The staff, and it was just a short walk to the train station.
My kids wished for more options at breakfast.

I had a fantastic experience enjoying the spacious traditional room with tatami floors and the relaxing private onsen baths available whenever we wanted. The calming garden view from the bath and the refreshing complimentary tea really made it special. The only downside was the preset meal times, but it’s worth it for such a memorable getaway! 😊

Highly recommend for couples
The experience was lovely. The private baths offered a serene escape after a day of sightseeing, and the meals served in the room were a delight to the senses. Our attendant was attentive, de-shelling crab and laying out our futons while even leaving a thank you note upon our departure.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for what we got, it was still worth it.
